Greasley Parish Council is comprised of 15 Members. Parish Councillors give of their time voluntarily and do not receive attendance allowances. Elections are held every 4 years and the next are scheduled for 2015.

In the current civic year Cllr Mick Brown is Chairman of the Council and Cllr Margaret Handley the Vice Chairman. Cllr Barbara Willimott is Chairman of the Environment Committee and Cllr Maureen Barry the Vice Chairman. Cllr Bob Willimott is Chairman of the Finance & General Purposes Committee and Cllr Madeleine Fletcher the Vice Chairman. There are currently two vacancies on the council.
